Aubrey Groves, CEO of DGES and Consultant

Aubrey Groves is the current CEO of Davis Groves Educational Services. She is an IECA Professional Member and an educational consultant in DGES. She joined Davis Groves Educational Services in 2015. 


Before joining DGES, Aubrey attended Davidson College where she majored in English and minored in Chinese. She has lived in China, Japan, and England.


She received her Master’s in Eastern Asian Studies at Duke University and went on to become a Chinese language teacher to high school students at two different boarding schools on the East Coast before joining DGES.

Aubrey's bright energy, knowledge, experience, and innate ability to relate well to students has helped her ease clients through the application process for colleges both domestically and abroad. She also serves as the tech whiz behind the scenes of DGES building out the systems that make the whole practice more effective and efficient for client families!


Aubrey has helped develop Davis Groves Educational Services into a well-known and respected professional IEC company in the Austin, Texas community and beyond. As she steps into the CEO role, Aubrey will continue to build the company into a customer service business that prioritizes empathetic honesty and data-driven, knowledge-based advice. She is working to build an intentional team of knowledgeable, creative women to help carry on the traditions of DGES helping students find their right fit colleges. The core of DGES is getting to know students and coaching them to take their next steps into adulthood. 


Under Aubrey’s leadership, she continues to empower her consultants to be the working professional women that they want to be with regards to their goals and family/personal lives. Aubrey defines the DGES brand and values, develops the DGES curriculum for students, parents, and consultants, maps out the company strategic plan and structure, and approaches all challenges with curiosity and a growth mindset.
